NCCPD Investigates a Home Invasion in Lynnfield

New Castle County Police are currently investigating a home invasion that occurred last night in the community of Lynnfield in Wilmington, DE.

On Sunday (12/1) night at 10:27 p.m., County Police responded to the unit block of Ridgeland Road for a reported home invasion. When officers arrived, the 22 year old victim indicated that earlier that evening several unknown suspects, who were armed with handguns, entered his residence and confronted him as they demanded his property. The victim was then assaulted prior to the suspects taking his property and fleeing from the home. Police learned they possibly left the area in a light colored sedan with tinted windows.

The suspects were described as a light skinned black female, approximately 5’07” tall, 150 pounds, who was wearing a dark hoodie and armed with a handgun, and two black males, one of which was armed with a handgun and had his face concealed, and the description of the other is unknown.

Assisting officers responded and checked the victim’s home for any possible suspects, as well as the surrounding area and neighboring communities, but were unsuccessful in their efforts in locating them.
